Toolbox:
• 28 golden crystals (size 6/0)
• 22 blue-green faceted beads
• 1 dark blue round faceted bead (size 3/0 to 2/0)
• `Scarab` seed beads
• Nylon thread (size B)
• A brooch back (1 inch long)
• Beading needle (if you wish)

Make a brooch using the same drawing as it was for steps 1 – 4 of `Lady with Lapdog` pendant project. Do not make a loop. Put the brooch you’ve done horizontally and secure it to a brooch back, each time crossing the thread ends. Tie them together and cut off the tails.
