Skill level: beginner

Toolbox:
• 16 golden crystals (size 6/0)
• 8 golden faceted beads
• 2 golden crystals (size 4/0)
• `Scarab` seed beads
• Nylon thread (size B)
• 2 golden shell lever earring backs
• Beading needle (if you wish)

Step 1 (base). Place four faceted beads and four seed beads in the middle of 20 inches long piece of thread (interchange the beads). Cross the threads inside the last faceted seed bead. Create the pattern base.

Step 2 (flowered pattern). Add one crystal (size 6/0) to each thread. Cross the threads inside the seed bead and add one more crystal to each thread. Then cross the thread ends inside the faceted bead placed on the end opposite the starting point.

Step 3 (finishing). Make the same flowered pattern at the reverse side of the base. Then add four seed beads to each thread. Put the thread ends together and pull them both through the crystal, size 4/0. Then add two seed beads, a clasp and two more seed beads to one thread. Pull the other thread in the opposite direction. Take out all the slack between the beads and tie the threads together. Secure them and cut off the tails.

Make the other earring in the same way.
