Ring

Skill level: beginner

Toolbox:
• 8 emerald-green, 8 sky-blue and 4 turquoise-colored crystals (size 6/0)
• 20 – 24 blue faceted beads (size 6/0)
• Green seed beads
• Silvery seed beads
• Nylon thread (size B)
• Beading needle

Step 1 (pattern base). Place four faceted beads in the middle of 40 inches long thread. Then cross the thread ends inside the last of the beads and add three more beads of the same kind. The threads should be coming out of the marginal bead. Continue making the square base for the pattern. To accomplish, cross the thread ends inside the last bottom bead.

Step 2. Make the right-hand column of the pattern. Then cross the threads inside the upper marginal bead and continue working on the left column.

Step 3. Move the thread through the beaded circle of the pattern base, adding green seed beads to the empty space between the crystals. Pull the threads through three beads at one of the sides of the pattern. Then cross the threads.

Step 4 (ring). Thread the seed beads according to the drawing. Close the ring by bringing one end of the thread through the beads at the other side of the pattern. Tie the thread ends together and pull them through the whole beaded ring if it’s possible. Then cut the tails.
