Venice
Bracelet
Skill level: intermediate Toolbox: • 18 light-pink, 20 light-brown and 25 light-green crystals (size 6/0) • White pearl seed beads • Beige pearl seed beads • 5 matte glass oblong beads (approximately 2/5 of an inch long) • Thin rings in mock antique metal • A core in mock antique metal • A lobster clasp in mock antique metal • 2 crimps • Nylon thread (size B and size D) • Crimp pliers and round nose pliers • Beading needle (if you wish) Step 1. Make a rosette using the drawing to steps 1 – 3 of `Venice` rosette necklace project. Step 2. Cut 28 inches long thread, size B. Make first two sets of the second rosette. Then place a beige bead, a white bead, a pink crystal, another white bead and beige bead on one thread end. Now bring the thread through the central upper bead of the first rosette. Then bring some beads down the thread in the same order once more and pull the thread through the last bead of the pattern you’ve begun making. Pull the other end of the thread likewise but in the opposite direction. Accomplish the second rosette, secure it and cut off the tails left.
Step 3. Cut 20 inches long piece of both size B thread and size D thread. Pull them through the central marginal beads of the completed rosettes pattern. Continue working symmetrically according to the drawing.
Step 4. Use the crimps to secure the jump rings built chain to one end of the bracelet. Add an accent charm there. Link a clasp to the other end of the bracelet.
